Job Summary GFIT is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Recruitment Coordinator to support our hiring process and enhance the candidate experience. In this role, you will help implement recruitment outreach strategies, manage early-stage applicant communication, and coordinate the initial stages of candidate evaluation. The Recruitment Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring a smooth, professional, and efficient hiring process from initial application through early-stage candidate screening. This position requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple candidates and recruitment activities simultaneously. Key Responsibilities Implement and support recruitment outreach strategies to attract qualified candidates across multiple channels. Source and identify potential candidates, particularly within the health and wellness industry. Review and screen incoming applications to identify candidates who meet role requirements and organizational fit. Maintain clear, timely communication with applicants during the early stages of the hiring process to ensure a positive candidate experience. Send pre-screening assessments to selected candidates, track submissions, and coordinate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) for evaluation and feedback. Schedule and conduct first-round interviews with shortlisted candidates. Provide interview feedback and determine whether candidates should move forward in the hiring process. Coordinate candidate progression with hiring managers and internal stakeholders. Provide timely feedback to candidates, including decline notifications when appropriate. Respond to applicant inquiries and maintain professional communication regarding general questions about the recruitment process. Maintain organized recruitment records and track candidate progress through the hiring pipeline. Support recruitment reporting by tracking key hiring metrics such as application volume, interview progression, and candidate outcomes. Assist with additional recruitment, onboarding, and training-related tasks as needed. Qualifications Educational background in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. 2+ years of experience in Human Resources, recruitment, or talent acquisition preferred. Experience recruiting within health, wellness, coaching, or clinical service industries is considered an asset. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive candidate relationships. Excellent organizational and time management abilities with strong attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple candidates and recruitment tasks simultaneously. Professional, empathetic, and respectful approach when communicating with applicants. Experience conducting structured candidate interviews. Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) or recruitment platforms. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, hiring managers, and Subject Matter Experts. Ability to handle confidential candidate information with professionalism and discretion.
