For more information about our company, visit We are seeking to hire an experienced Production Manager who will develop, structure and lead assembly operations, and manage all aspects of assembly teams, processes, and manufacturing areas within the relevant departments. Duties & Responsibilities 1. Leadership & Operations Management Lead and manage departmental Lead Hands, ensuring optimal staffing, team performance, and alignment with production goals. Oversee end-to-end production operations in a build-to-order environment, ensuring efficiency, workflow coordination, and timely output. 2. Production Efficiency & Continuous Improvement Drive overall manufacturing efficiency, equipment utilization, and product quality across the production lifecycle. Lead problem-solving, risk assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce operational bottlenecks. 3. ERP, Supply Chain & Planning Manage ERP functions including purchasing and scheduling teams, ensuring accurate planning and system utilization. Support supply chain initiatives to improve material flow, vendor performance, and cost efficiency. 4. Quality, Compliance & Safety Ensure compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and internal audit processes. Enforce Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) policies, promoting a safe and compliant workplace. 5. Equipment, Maintenance & NPI Oversee equipment maintenance, calibration, and capacity planning, including recommendations for expansion. Support new product introduction through Design for Manufacturing (DFM), transitioning products from prototype to full production. 6. Performance & Reporting Establish and monitor KPIs related to production, quality, and operational performance. Provide regular reporting and insights to leadership to support data-driven decision-making. Qualifications and Skills Post-secondary education in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, with demonstrated leadership experience. Experience working in a build-to-order or custom manufacturing setting . Hands-on experience with ERP systems (planning, scheduling, and purchasing). Proven involvement in new product introduction (NPI) and production ramp-up. Strong understanding of quality standards and continuous improvement practices . Working knowledge of quality systems, audits, and health & safety standards. Strong cross-functional collaboration and clear communication with leadership and internal stakeholders.
