A leading international mining organisation is seeking an experienced Senior Manager Mining to lead a large-scale underground mining operation. This is a senior leadership role responsible for delivering safe, efficient and profitable production while driving operational excellence, environmental stewardship and strong community engagement. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer , the successful candidate will take overall responsibility for mine operations, providing strategic direction, operational leadership and commercial oversight to ensure the long-term success and sustainability of the asset. Key Responsibilities Lead all mining operations, ensuring safe and efficient delivery of production targets. Develop long-term operational strategies to maximise asset value and mine life. Manage multidisciplinary teams across operations, technical services and safety. Oversee budgets, cost performance and capital allocation. Ensure full compliance with health, safety, environmental and regulatory standards. Maintain strong relationships with regulators, communities and key stakeholders. Candidate Profile Degree in Mining Engineering or a related discipline . 15+ years experience in mining operations , including leadership roles in large-scale underground environments. Proven ability to lead large operational teams and deliver production and safety performance. Strong understanding of operational, financial and environmental aspects of mining operations.
