Key Responsibilities - Deliver direct patient care consistentwith the RN scope of practice under the College of Nurses of Ontario(CNO). - Conduct assessments, care planning,interventions, and evaluations in alignment with client andfacility policies. - Administer medications and treatments asprescribed. - Collaborate with physicians, NursePractitioners, allied health professionals, and care teams. - Provide health education and support topatients and families. - Use client Electronic Medical Record (EMR)systems as required systems vary across facilities (e.g., VitalHub TREATin correctional facilities). - Maintain compliance with PHIPA (healthinformation privacy), AODA , OHSA , and otherapplicable Ontario legislation. - Uphold professional standards of nursingpractice in all settings, including acute care, long-term care, communityhealth, and institutional facilities. Requirements - Current registration in good standing withthe College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) as a RegisteredNurse . - Minimum 2 years of recent clinicalexperience in acute, long-term care, or community healthsetting. - Demonstrated competency in patientassessment, critical thinking, and interdisciplinary collaboration. - Strong communication and documentationskills. - Flexibility to work in variedenvironments (hospital, correctional, school, community) andacross Ontario regions. - Ability to adapt to fluctuatingclient demand no guaranteed volume of work is provided. Security & ComplianceRequirements All RNs must successfully complete mandatory security screening prior toassignment, which may include: - Criminal Record and Judicial Matters Check(CRJMC) - Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) (where applicable) - Credit Check (if required byClient) - Drivers Record Check / Out-of-Country checks (if driving isrequired) Additional Information - Equipment : RNs must provide their own stethoscopes ;all other required medical equipment will be available on-site. - Service Delivery : Work may includeboth day-to-day care and specialty assignments dependingon Client needs. - Contracts : Assignments will be defined in SOWs withtimelines that can range from short-term relief coverage to multi-monthprojects. #J-18808-Ljbffr
