Site Services Planner (6 Month Term)(McClean Lake)Orano Canada is a leading producer of uranium in Canada, working to power the future with clean energy! If this sounds like a career path for you, please apply!Responsibilities include: Plan, schedule and track progress of all work orders for the Services GroupDevelop, manage and optimize the preventative/predictive maintenance program along with tracking of any equipment usage and maintenance performance metrics within the Services GroupReview and process all completed work orders transferring handwritten details into SAP and following up directly with Service Group personnel as required to reconcile details requiring clarification Create, manage and edit Equipment Master Records and Functional Location in SAP for all Service Group EquipmentProvide all necessary support in the planning and purchasing of mobile equipment within the Site Services GroupCoordinate efforts with Purchasing and Logistics personnel to secure goods and services on site in accordance with equipment availability requirementsInitialize new site inventory for the maintenance of all mobile equipment and fixed assets managed by the Services GroupDevelop and maintain equipment BOMs to support all equipment managed by Services GroupPlan and budget medium and long term equipment maintenance repair/rebuild schedulesProvide the necessary support in the development of equipment decommissioning strategiesEnsure that all necessary halocarbon records for site are kept currentPeriodic review and updating of the Services Group work instructionsMaintain equipment condition monitoring program (oil samples), review / interpretation of results to monitor and anticipate potential component failuresManage equipment warranty claims, monitor the status of the claims and reviews warranty settlements to ensure funds are appropriately appliedPrepare monthly department KPI reporting for the Group as requiredPromote and support Operational Excellence and OE CulturePromote and adhere to Oranos Ethics Charter and Oranos Values: Safety and Security, Team Spirit and Cohesion, Continuous Improvement, Customer Satisfaction, Ethics, Transparency and Dialogue, Respect and People DevelopmentSkills and Qualifications for the position include:Journeyperson Heavy Duty/Industrial Mechanic, Mechanical Technician/Technologist or equivalent experience/training3+ years of industrial maintenance planning experienceProficient in SAP, particularly in Preventative Maintenance moduleStrong administrative skills and maintenance aptitudeKnowledge of preventative maintenance strategies is considered an assetProficient with using Microsoft ExcelExcellent communication skills and good work ethic is essentialAble to manage competing priorities in a demanding environmentHighly organized with an emphasis for detailWork Location & Schedule: McClean Lake14 day in/ 14 day out rotating schedule but adjustments will be required periodically to balance time spent with teamNormally an 11 hour work day, although some activity outside of normal working hours may be requiredBenefits and advantages of working with us:Competitive salary and benefits packageA welcoming environment and great co-workersTraining, development, and career advancement opportunitiesMany indoor recreational activities some of which include: full size gymnasium, racquetball court and fitness facilities, billiards, art room, band room, and ongoing scheduled recreational activities such as bingo, basketball, floor hockey, volleyball, fitness classes, archery, pickle ball, art and pottery classes, etc.Outdoor recreational activities (weather permitting) some of which include: fishing, canoeing, paddleboards, bicycles, tennis courts, snow shoeing, etc.Fly Day- This position will fly in and fly out on WednesdayPick-Up Points: Saskatoon, Prince Albert, La Ronge, Buffalo Narrows and the designated communities in the Athabasca region of Uranium City, Stony Rapids, Fond du Lac, and Wollaston.As a condition of employment the successful candidate must complete Oranos pre-employment checks including education verification and employment reference checks.
