Company DescriptionAlpine Energy Services is a North American leader in Managed Pressure Drilling (MPD) and Underbalanced Drilling (UBD), delivering integrated engineering, equipment, and field execution solutions.We partner with operators to enhance safety, reduce non-productive time, and optimize drilling performancebringing together technical expertise and operational experience to solve complex well challenges.Position OverviewAlpine Energy Services is seeking an Accounting & Payroll Coordinator to manage and own day-to-day financial operations.This role is responsible for full-cycle bookkeeping, payroll coordination, and maintaining accurate financial records in a fast-paced, field-driven environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working independently while supporting operations and leadership.Key Responsibilities Full-Cycle Bookkeeping Manage accounts payable and receivable Maintain accurate, up-to-date financial records Perform bank and credit card reconciliations Post journal entries and maintain the general ledger Identify and resolve discrepancies proactively Support month-end and year-end close processesPayroll & Compliance Coordinate and process payroll Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with applicable regulations Manage payroll taxes and statutory remittances Experience managing payroll with WagepointReporting & Financial Support Prepare and support internal financial reporting Monitor and flag variances against budgets or expectations Assist with GST filings and tax documentation Support cash flow tracking, collections, and vendor paymentsOperations & Job Costing Work closely with operations to ensure accurate job costing and tracking Align financial data with field activity and invoicing Support project-based accounting needsQualifications (Required) Post-secondary education in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or related field 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience Experience with QuickBooks Online Experience with Wagepoint Strong understanding of accounting principles High attention to detail and strong organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills and ability to work with operations teamsAssets Experience in oilfield, service, or project-based environments Familiarity with GST filings and Canadian compliance requirements Experience supporting multiple entities or divisionsWhat Were Looking For Someone who can own the bookkeeping and payroll function end-to-end Proactive and able to identify and resolve issues independently Comfortable working in a growing, operational business Reliable, trustworthy, and highly detail-orientedWork Environment Calgary Office Full-time, in-office Monday through Thursday; remote work on Fridays Collaborative team supporting field operations and leadership
