Excellent communication skills and a passion for teaching others. Solid working knowledge of industrial electricity. Excellent communication skills and a passion for teaching others. Working knowledge of Word and PowerPoint. Fluency in both English and French (spoken and written) is required. Trade school degree (or equivalent education or field experience) in an industrial subject. This position requires some travel domestically and internationally. POSITION SUMMARY The Technical Trainer spends most of their time giving technical instruction in a classroom and lab environment. They also work with other colleagues to develop instructional material to meet the changing demands of the business. They are a vital technical resource for technical questions arising from the front lines. Fluency in both English and French is mandatory for this role. RESPONSIBILITIES: Teach technical training courses. Assist in developing instructional materials for the Tech masters Curriculum. Administer quizzes and tests based on the material presented. Evaluate technician performance in classroom and lab activities. Develop learning paths for technicians based on individual skill sets and local branch needs. Provide feedback to managers regarding the overall skill level of the technician base. Provide feedback to Region Americas Technical Training Department regarding specific training required within the district. Serve as a resource for technical questions originating from the field. Complete various clerical duties related to student performance reports. Perform KTI Training for external customers. Perform other duties as assigned.
