Please share Position available in Lloydminster Environmental and Geotechnical Drillers and Swampers WANTEDTop Gear Contracting is an environmental and geotechnical company based out of Lloydminster that services Alberta and SK. Job Duties Safe operation and maintenance of equipment Heavy lifting of supplies and drill equipment (10-100 lb) Travel to and from job sites across AB and SK Perform or assist in drilling operations including: drilling bore holes for soil sampling, installation of ground water monitoring wells and geotechnical drilling with use of SPT hammer Loading of equipment and rigs for jobs Washing of equipment after jobs and routine maintenance of equipment Continuous safety and job training as requiredCredentials Minimum of: H2S, First Aid, Drivers license Preference will be given to those with a ground disturbance ticket Class 1 Drivers license would be an asset Must provide a preemployment drug and alcohol test Experience is an asset Safety knowledge and training Willing to travel around AB and SK (some jobs require being away from home base for up to two weeks at a time) Fit for dutyWagesThis is a full time position. Top Gear is willing to pay a range of $28-$40 based on experience for this position. There is also subsistence pay for any jobs that require hotel stay away from the Lloydminster area. There is opportunity to begin as a swamper and learn and excel into a driller position.
