Senior Manager, Donor Relations & Engagement, Philanthropy Current, Permanent, Full-Time The Position Are you a determined optimist passionate about children''''s rights and gender equality? As the Donor Relations & Events Officer , you will play a vital role in delivering strong engagement and stewardship initiatives for our donors through exceptional event execution and thoughtful stewardship experiences. You will be responsible for executing the planning, coordination, and delivery of in-person and virtual donor events that create meaningful connections and enhance the donor experience, ensuring each event aligns with our mission and resonates with our donors. As an integral member of the Philanthropy team, you will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to execute strategies that cultivate, steward, and nurture donor relationships through developing and implementing personalized stewardship communications and activities. Youll craft tailored messaging, coordinate impactful touchpoints, and ensure donors feel appreciated and informed about the difference their support makes. In this role, you have an opportunity to influence and execute part of the teams strategy to grow revenue, and cultivate, steward and nurture donor relationships to meet the goals of the Philanthropy Team. What success looks like? Donor Engagement & Events 40% Focus: Planning and executing donor events, group donor travel and strategic engagement initiatives to strengthen donor relationships. Coordinate and execute strategic donor engagement initiatives, collaborating across internal teams to advance stewardship goals Planning, coordination, and delivery of key in-person and virtual donor events, ensuring seamless execution and high donor satisfaction. Planning, coordination, and delivery of annual group donor trips, ensuring seamless execution and best-in-class donor experience. Collaborate with various business units to ensure event & travel communications, event strategies, and reporting align with overall departmental goals. Stewardship Communications & Donor Experience 35% Focus: Creating and maintaining timely and strategic stewardship communications and touchpoints to enhance donor stewardship initiatives aligned to the stewardship matrix. Execute engagement and stewardship activities and processes aligned with the Stewardship Matrix, ensuring strategic touchpoints for donors. Maintain and update donor communication templates (thank you letters, gift agreements, etc.) to ensure materials remain relevant and compelling. Coordinate and support the delivery of annual impact reports and proposals including facilitating knowledge sharing and trainings. Lead the coordination and development of customized stewardship strategies with the International Programs team. Data Management, Reporting & Operational Support 25% Focus: Ensuring accurate data tracking, reporting, and operational efficiency to support donor engagement and stewardship efforts. Coordination of CRM data reporting to ensure that donor stewardship initiatives and engagement plans are reflected accurately within the system. Support of fundraisers to ensure they have access to up-to-date cultivation and solicitation resources. Organization, upkeep and maintenance of processes, tools and resources within the stewardship matrix. Track KPIs and metrics related to all stewardship initiatives and communications. As our ideal candidate you will have: Proven experience in planning and managing donor events within a non-profit fundraising environment. A passion for delivering an exceptional donor experience through strategic stewardship. A strong alignment with the mission-driven work of Plan International Canada. Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships across departments and inspire confidence in donors and stakeholders. Excellent organizational skills and adaptability with the ability to balance shifting priorities and efficiently manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proven experience developing strong and impactful written communications that are adaptable to different audiences. Keen attention to detail and quality assurance skills, with a commitment to accuracy in donor communications, event materials, and data entry. Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with expense management systems is an asset.
