About the Role As a Sales Manager, youll be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations in the sales department, ensuring a seamless customer experience while meeting or exceeding sales targets. This role involves supervising sales advisors through the sale process, coaching on performance, and managing customer interactions. Key Responsibilities - Work Closely with fellow managers and build strong trust-based relationships with them - New and Used inventory management, merchandising, and departmental efficiency - Marketing planning, execution and analysis - Lead and motivate the sale steam to achieve individual and team targets. - Manage showroom floor activity, ensuring an excellent customer experience is always the priority - Build lasting relationships with clients through a personalized, consultative sales approach - Understand client needs and recommend suitable vehicles and financing options - Be an expert of product knowledge, industry trends, and competitor offerings - Conduct sales meetings, coaching, and training sessions to reinforce product knowledge and selling techniques to achieve and surpass sales targets - Monitor and manage sales metrics, lead sources, ensuring every opportunity is maximized in compliance with dealership policies and manufacturer requirements - Collaborate with other departments to maintain a cohesive, high-functioning operation - Monitor market trends and competitor activity to keep our team ahead of the curve - Support dealership initiatives that promote teamwork, accountability, and a positive workplace culture - Prepare and produce reports based on established KPIs by General Manager Who You Are - Previous management or team lead experience is required - Strong knowledge of vehicle financing, leasing, and trade-in processes - Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and building long-term client relationships - A natural leader who inspires others through action, integrity, and results - Excellent communicator with strong presentation and interpersonal skills - Highly adaptable, goal-oriented, and eager to grow within a leadership role - Tech-savvy with knowledge of dealership CRM tools and digital sales processes - Familiarity with sales reporting tools - OMVIC licensed and possess a valid Class G Drivers License What We Offer - Competitive salary with strong commission and bonus structure - Comprehensive health and dental benefits - Company events, employee appreciation programs, and team celebrations - Continuous training and professional development - A supportive management team committed to your growth - Clear opportunities for career advancement within a growing organization #J-18808-Ljbffr
