Senior Project Manager Technology (Online Business Banking / Payments) Toronto (Hybrid) | Contract Hourly Pay Range: $76.75 - $87.99/hour We are partnering with a leading Canadian bank to hire a Senior Project Manager to support a portfolio of high-impact Online Business Banking (OBB) initiatives. This role sits within the Commercial Banking technology team and will focus on delivering fast-paced, customer-facing digital and payments projects. This is an opportunity to step into a high-visibility portfolio , supporting multiple concurrent initiatives including platform enhancements, cross-border rollouts, and new product features for business banking clients. What Youll Be Doing Lead end-to-end delivery of multiple technology initiatives within the OBB portfolio Manage parallel workstreams across 45+ cross-functional teams (engineering, product, QA, architecture) Drive delivery in a fast-paced, Agile/Waterfall hybrid environment with frequent releases and tight timelines Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure alignment and execution Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and escalation points before they impact delivery Support initiatives related to payments, reporting, and digital banking platform enhancements Contribute to F26 planning , helping shape delivery roadmaps and execution strategy What Were Looking For 10+ years of experience as a Technology Project Manager (not a Scrum Master or purely PMO/governance) Proven experience delivering digital banking, payments, or commercial banking technology projects Strong ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives in complex, fast-moving environments Experience working across large, matrixed teams with multiple delivery partners Demonstrated ability to anticipate risks, think critically, and problem-solve quickly Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence , and Agile delivery practices Prior experience within a banking or financial services environment is required What Will Make You Stand Out Experience with Online Business Banking (OBB) or similar digital banking platforms Exposure to payments (ACH, EFT, wires, cross-border) or transaction-based systems Experience supporting multi-region or cross-border launches (Canada/U.S.) A reputation for being a calm, confident delivery lead who can navigate ambiguity and drive results Why This Role?
