Primary Responsibilities The primary responsibility for the position is to coordinate and support the Customer Development Management team. The successful candidate will be exposed to all aspects of the business including Sales, Account Management and Brand Development. The position will support the National Customer Development Team in both Warehouse and DSD business. This entry level position will be actively involved in building positive retailer and vendor relationships and will actively participate in Customer Development Team process improvement initiatives. Essential Functions Position Accountabilities Support and participate in food safety programs including SQF (Safe Quality Food). Manage all Account Specific portals. Work with Customer Development Managers as well as brokers, vendors, customer associates to enter, monitor & measure promotions and execution strategies. Coordinates the administrative implementation and communication of new product listings, expanded distributions, delisted/discontinued products, and pack size or case/upc changes, including internal reporting systems, filling out customer forms and/or online portal entry. Acts as key liaison with National Field Sales & Operations team, ensuring the timely and accurate disbursement of information (listings, sell sheets, promotions, plano changes etc.) Maintain master order guides ensuring authorized customer/banner listing base is accurate, including adding and deleting products, updating pricing & other information as necessary. Communicate accordingly. Trouble shoots pricing and purchasing order discrepancies as well as identifying and resolving technical requirements/challenges of the customer.Provide paperwork with all appropriate back up to Finance/Accounting Department for account deductions, including listings, promotions and post audits. Assists in preparing regular business, customer & client presentations which includes running a variety of reports for completion or as requested, including Category Ranking, POS sales, and comparative sales reports. Collaborates with CDM team to follow up on exception reports generated with orders, such as orders with inaccurate pricing & products. Ensure approved price changes or updates as necessary including communicating to stakeholders. Owns the sample process for the assigned customer team. Actively participates in team meetings and discussions. Prepares and works through customer-specific project work or ad hoc assignments and requests as required. Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude Education within business, marketing, or equivalent and 1 year of working experience in a CPG environment is preferred. Must be proficient in MS Office - Word, Excel, and Power Point; focus on intermediate Excel skills. Proficient at navigating through various portals including LDIA, LVRP, Loblaw Deals portal, and PATH. High energy level, comfortable and ability to establish credibility and be decisive but be able to recognize and support the organizations preferences and priorities. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills. Must be tactful, mature, and flexible with good reasoning abilities and sound judgment. Excellent planning skills, with attention to detail so that workflow is managed efficiently and able to work independently of direct supervision. Emphasis placed on organization skills and ability to distil large amounts of information. Must be able to work a minimum of 3 days a week in our Mississauga office. The base compensation range for this role is $55,497 CAD - $72,000 CAD. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individuals knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
