Here Is Whats On Your Horizon Faculty/School School of Early Childhood Education Program/ Courses ECE Diploma We welcome applications for parttime teaching opportunities. Course assignments are based on scheduling and instructional needs. Contract faculty typically teach up to 6 hours per week, with classes scheduled Monday to Friday between 8 00am and 7 00pm. Responsibilities Responsible for providing academic leadership in the classroom and ensuring an effective and compelling learning environment for students. You will Ensure student awareness of course objectives, approach, and evaluation techniques. Carry out regularly scheduled instruction, which may include tutoring and academic counselling of students. Provide a learning environment that makes effective use of available resources, work experience and field trips. Evaluate student progress/achievement and assuming responsibility for the overall assessment of the student''s work within assigned courses. What you bring to Seneca Education Bachelor''s in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a closely related field. Additional postsecondary education is an asset. Experience 1 year of postsecondary teaching experience Practical experience in Early Learning and Care, and/or working with children and families in communitybased settings Skills Demonstrated knowledge of and experience teaching fundamentals of your area(s) of expertise.
