Description Essential Duties and Tasks Safley sets up, operates, and monitors bag machinery and equipment as intended and needed to meet customer and production goals. Completes bag machine setup for production runs, including loading materials, adjusting settings, and calibrating equipment to ensure proper operation. Monitors the production process, inspects and tests materials and equipment using safe and proper protocols, to ensure products meet quality standards and production quotas are met. Verifies and tracks all materials for inventory and work in progress regulations. Troubleshoots equipment malfunctions and performs routine maintenance tasks to keep machinery operating efficiently. Trains and provides guidance to machine assistants and new crew members. Keeps machinery and surrounding areas organized by meeting housekeeping, storage, staging, and cleanliness requirements. Completes all necessary documentation for internal or external use. Effectively works with other departments or team members, such as machine technicians, supervisors, and quality control inspectors, to coordinate. Qualifications, Education and Experience HS/GED required; HS/GED preferred. 2-4 years'' experience in a related field required. This position has no leadership duties. Maintains strict confidentiality and protects privacy of confidential/sensitive information. Exceptional time management and organization skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously establishing priorities to meet deadlines. Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written, and presentations) with executive leadership, staff, and internal and external clients. Proactive; exercises sound judgment and decision-making; able to identify problems and needs and develop solutions and/or options. Self-confident, self-motivated polished professional who thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment. Pay offers are based on jobrelated factors, including relevant experience, skills, education, internal equity, and business needs. Most offers are made in the lower to middle part of the range.
