Job Description Mechanical Drafter (Structural Steel Experience Required)We are seeking a Mechanical Drafter with strong structural steel experience to join our team. This role will support the design and detailing of structural steel components and assemblies for construction projects.Responsibilities:Prepare detailed mechanical and structural steel drawings using AutoCAD/RevitProduce shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and layoutsCoordinate with engineers, project managers, and fabricatorsReview and revise drawings based on project requirements and site conditionsEnsure compliance with applicable codes and standardsRequirements:25+ years of drafting experience with a focus on structural steelProficiency in AutoCAD (Revit considered an asset)Strong understanding of structural steel detailing and fabrication processesAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and specificationsStrong attention to detail and organizational skills
