Were looking for a Senior Manager of Regional Security in this role you will get to: Select, train, develop and motivate a staff of security professionals located across Canada Plan, organize, staff, direct and controls the Canadian security program. Ensure the safety and security of FedEx team members, property, company / customer assets and the FedEx brand. Oversee proper monitoring of FedEx proprietary and contract security programs Manage security assessments and evaluate security requirements at all FedEx operating locations within Canada Respond to crisis and emergency situations on a 24/7 basis Develop, maintain and ensure liaison with law enforcement officials, conducting investigations, representing FedEx at courts This job might be for you if you: Take accountability for department failure and acts quickly to find a suitable solution Uses best judgment in making decisions & delivers on commitments Seek to simplify business processes while ensuring quality Keep abreast of FedEx and general business strategic direction Communicate effectively Enable and mobilizes staff to stay focused and enthusiastic about tasks Address and resolve conflict management And - wed love if youre really good at the below as well: Build bridges and collaborate cross-organizationally Are dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal clients and external customers So what do you need to do all of this? How about Bachelors Degree or equivalent Certified Protection Professional (CPP) preferred Six (6) years Law Enforcement/ Corporate Security including three (3) years experience within air cargo industry; includes 2 years management experience in Security Working experience with Microsoft Power Point, Word, Excel, Outlook Knowledge of investigation/interview techniques: detection/alarm systems, Close Circuit TV(CCTV), access control and Transport Canada security regulations/ laws Must hold or be able to hold secret security clearance Overnight travel required and work varying shifts based on business needs.
