We are **hiring immediately** for a **GSC** **Technical Team Lead!**As a **GSC Technical Team Lead**, youll be part of a collaborative leadership team responsible for monitoring daily operations, supporting associates, and ensuring highquality technical repair work within our fastpaced Geek Squad City environment. Youll guide your team through diagnostics and repairs, coach and motivate them, and help maintain industryleading standards in product quality and processing.## **Availability Requirements*** Must be flexible to support departmental operational needs.* Primarily Monday to Friday, with flexibility to work weekends or afternoon shifts depending on workflow.## **What youll do as a GSC Technical Team Lead**### **Active Supervision*** Determine the daily workload for your team through reporting and physical observation.* Assign tasks, monitor progress, and work alongside your team to ensure KPIs are met.* Oversee and assist with diagnosing and repairing electronics, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.* Support workstreams such as shipping, quality audits, detailing, product testing, billing, and store communications.### **Coaching & People Leadership*** Provide clear communication around expectations, timelines, and daily priorities.* Train and support associates to ensure consistency and success in their roles.* Offer ongoing feedback, coaching, and recognition to build a positive team environment.* Share insights and collaborate with your Supervisor and fellow Team Leads to strengthen leadership alignment at GSC.### **Process Improvement*** Identify workflow and process gaps and recommend effective solutions.* Assist in developing and implementing departmental SOPs, policies, and best practices.* Support resolutions for technical, equipment, or processrelated issues.* Maintain strong system knowledge, including Smarts and other GSC tools, to help reduce errors and improve throughput.### **Department Reporting*** Produce and review reports on productivity, quality, and other key performance metrics.* Highlight trends, risks, and opportunities to support datadriven decisionmaking.* Ensure all documentation and paperwork is completed accurately and on time.### **5S, Safety & Security*** Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area for associates and visitors.* Follow 5S principles (Sort, Set in Place, Shine, Standardize, Sustain).* Identify and escalate safety or security risks promptly.## **What were looking for*** Minimum 2 years of experience repairing consumer electronics (laptops, desktops, tablets).* Minimum 2 years in a service center or similar technical environment.* Grade 12 or equivalent; technical education (Consumer Electronics Diploma, A+ Certification) is an asset.* Strong technical knowledge of client unit processing: shipping, repairing, billing, quality control, data backup/recovery.* Familiarity with 5S methodology and GSC systems such as Smarts and Microsoft applications.* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.* Strong attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure.* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.* Previous leadership or customer service experience is an asset.## **Why youll love it here*** Competitive compensation and benefits* Employee discounts on amazing tech* A fun, inclusive, and supportive team environment* Opportunities for technical skill development and career growth* A fastpaced, handson environment where your leadership truly makes an impact## **Join our amazing team!**Were looking for passionate, technically skilled leaders who are ready to make a difference every day at Geek Squad City.**Base pay range**Hourly pay rate: $21.78 - $22.60This job is eligible for a company performance bonus in addition to the compensation range above.*Pay may vary by province.
