About the Role Were looking for an Experience Designer to craft immersive, purposeful, and emotionally resonant experiences that bring our clients goals to life. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, storytelling, and design. You will translate business objectives into meaningful attendee journeys, shaping how participants feel, connect, and act throughout the experiences we deliver. Reporting to the Head of Experience Design & Strategy, you will collaborate with crossfunctional teams to design the full event journey from preevent anticipation to onsite engagement to postevent memory triggers. You will map and shape experiences through creative programming, storytelling, and humancentred design. This role calls for curiosity, imagination, strong research instincts, and the ability to transform strategic intent into moments that move. Key Responsibilities Strategic Design & Storytelling Develop experience strategies grounded in audience insights, client objectives, and program goals. Design narrative arcs and sensory touchpoints that connect the experience across all phases of the event. Create compelling visual narratives (mood boards, storyboards, presentations) that communicate creative concepts and programming ideas. Present creative strategies and experience concepts to clients and internal teams, incorporating feedback into evolving designs. Journey Mapping & Engagement Design Create attendee journey maps that illustrate flow, energy shifts, and emotional outcomes. Design engagement strategies such as gamification, personalization, and interactive programming. Contribute to creative decks, scripting, show flows, and brand storytelling elements. Global Destination Curation Design events with unique, culturally relevant purpose that aligns with our Made to Move You design philosophy. Collaborate with local partners (DMCs, Hotels, Fabricators, Decorators and other partners) to create customized experiences. Participate in client site inspections and program execution to gain destination and client/audience experience. Collaboration with Sales and Product & Planning teams & Suppliers Partner with our Sales and Product & Planning teams to help shape experience strategy including presenting concepts to client. Effectively lead communication and ideation with partners to design, cost and deliver client experiences. Act as a budget advisor in collaboration with our sourcing team to develop budgets that maximize impact and value while ensuring alignment with client objectives. Act as a strategic creative partner across internal teams and with clients to align on tone, themes, and innovation opportunities. Participate in brainstorms, pitch meetings, and client workshops, adding unexpected ideas and framing. Support production and event management teams in translating concepts into executable elements. Act as a senior client partner throughout the experience design process, helping translate client vision into actionable, participantfirst strategies. Lead clientfacing checkpoints to align experience direction with evolving goals and feedback. Stay ahead of cultural, experiential, and technological trendssharing insights and applying relevant innovations to program design. Research entertainment formats, multisensory activations, and guest talent to recommend elevated moments of surprise and delight. Evaluation & Evolution Postevent, evaluate the effectiveness of the experience through attendee feedback, behavioural data, and internal debriefs. Continuously refine Wynfords experience design frameworks, tools, and best practices. What You Bring Education: Bachelors degree in Event Design, Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, Fine Arts or related fields. Experience: 4+ years of experience in event design, experiential marketing, creative strategy, visual design, or related roles, with a track record of delivering participantfocused experiences. Creative Skills: Proficiency in developing visual narratives (mood boards, storyboards, PPT) to communicate event concepts. Visual Design and Storytelling: able to craft narratives that guide audience perception and emotion. Communication Skills: Excellent presentation and storytelling skills, with the ability to articulate creative concepts to clients and internal teams. Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of event production, destination curation, and vendor/supplier collaboration. Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively within crossdisciplinary teams in a fastpaced agency environment.
