The Role In this dynamic, office-based position, you will act as a pivotal link between technical underwriting precision and sales excellence. You will be responsible for driving growth through the expert delivery of personal insurance solutions while fostering a culture of high achievement. This role is ideal for a target-motivated professional who enjoys navigating a fast-paced environment, providing top-tier advisory services, and contributing to a collaborative team atmosphere. Work Schedule & Environment: Location: Full-time, on-site office presence required. Operating Hours: Monday to Friday (8:00 a.m. 9:00 p.m.) and Saturday (8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m.). Commitment: 37.5 hours per week (five 7.5-hour shifts within the operating window). Key Responsibilities Sales Execution: Generate comprehensive Home and Auto insurance quotes, perform initial underwriting, and close sales to meet and exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) and conversion targets. Portfolio Management: Identify and execute cross-selling and up-selling opportunities to expand the clients coverage and enhance portfolio value. Technical Expertise: Exercise sound underwriting judgment for new business, policy endorsements, and renewals within your delegated authority. Mentorship: Act as a technical resource for junior colleagues, sharing specialized knowledge and modeling best-in-class performance. Client Retention: Deliver a superior service experience that builds long-term loyalty; assist existing policyholders with updates and adjustments to ensure their coverage evolves with their needs. Continuous Improvement: Maintain an up-to-date understanding of industry regulations, pricing models, and product shifts. Actively track and analyze personal metrics to optimize outcomes. Qualifications Education: Completion of a University Degree or College Diploma. Licensing: Ability to attain an OTL License (comprehensive training and support will be provided). Proven Success: A demonstrated history of meeting or surpassing ambitious sales goals and performance metrics. Communication: Highly developed verbal and written communication skills with a focus on consultative selling. Technical Aptitude: Comfortable navigating multiple software systems and adapting to new technological platforms. Soft Skills: A self-motivated problem-solver who can effectively manage competing priorities while remaining focused on the customers unique needs.
