Today, the Orchestra presents 100+ concerts annually, engaging audiences of all ages and backgrounds through vibrant musical experiences and education initiatives. The Role The Manager, Individual Giving is a newly created role at the TSO. You are a marketer at heart selfmotivated, with a keen eye for effective storytelling and a strong grasp of fundraising strategy and project management. In this role, youll integrate marketing strategy, data insight, and storytelling to grow donor relationships, drive sustainable revenue, and build the foundation for longterm philanthropic success. Reports to: Director, Individual Giving Status: Permanent Fulltime Start date: as soon as possible What youll do - Lead the planning and optimization of integrated annual giving programs across direct mail, email, and digital channels to acquire, retain, and upgrade donors in the Friends and Impresarios Club portfolios. - Develop compelling donorfocused messaging and content, coordinating campaign timelines, approvals, and creative assets with internal stakeholders. - Deploy and manage email campaigns through WordFly; oversee thirdparty and tribute giving platforms (Benevity, United Way, CanadaHelps) to track performance and grow revenue streams. - Monitor and analyze campaign performance using CRM and web analytics tools; build dashboards and reports tracking revenue, retention, response rates, and ROI. - Manage project timelines and crossfunctional workflows across internal and external partners to ensure integrated, ontime, onbudget execution. - Collaborate with Development Operations on data segmentation and integrity; provide databacked recommendations to improve donor experience, program effectiveness, and revenue outcomes. What youll bring - 5+ years of progressive experience in annual giving, direct response, or fundraising, with a demonstrated track record of meeting revenue targets and executing multichannel campaigns across direct mail, email, and digital channels. - Strong analytical skills with experience tracking KPIs, building dashboards, and using CRM and web analytics tools to optimize segmentation, performance, and ROI (Tessitura, Raisers Edge, Salesforce, or similar). - Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to move from strategy to copy and develop compelling, donorfocused content across fundraising assets. - Proven project management ability coordinating timelines, stakeholders, and external vendors across crossfunctional teams in a fastpaced environment; proficiency with WordFly or similar email platforms, and advanced Microsoft Office and Google Workspace skills. - Familiarity with marketing automation tools and donor journey development is an asset; experience using automation to enhance segmentation, personalization, and campaign efficiency is a plus. - Passion for arts and culture, or knowledge of the performing arts or orchestral sector, is an asset but not required. Compensation & Benefits - Salary range: $70,000$90,000 CAD (commensurate with experience). - Benefits: 100% company paid benefits including TelusHealth Employee Family Assistance program (provided after successful completion of the first three (3) months of employment); companypaid pension contributions provided after the completion of one year of employment; 15 days vacation prorated during the first year, complimentary tickets to TSO concerts and a hybrid work environment.
