If you have worked with a General Contractor, understand construction delivery, and enjoy the relationshipbuilding and opportunitygeneration side of the business, this is your opportunity to influence project direction from concept to award, while collaborating directly with the VP of Operations, estimating, design, and project delivery teams.What Youll DoBuild and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients across commercial, industrial, and designbuild sectors.Lead earlystage project discussions: feasibility, scope definition, site considerations, budget expectations, and delivery strategy.Act as the primary contact for prospective clients, ensuring expectations are understood, documented, and translated internally.Collaborate with estimating to develop conceptual budgets, preliminary schedules, and technical proposals.Lead responses to RFIs and RFPs, including narratives, value propositions, and project delivery strategies.Support design coordination through early constructability reviews and alignment between client intent and technical requirements.Identify new project opportunities within assigned territories.Participate in industry events, site visits, and networking activities to build market presence.Maintain CRM with accurate project pipeline updates, bid tracking, and client information.Work closely with estimating, design, and operations to ensure alignment on scope, schedule, and client deliverables.Participate in internal project handovers to support smooth transitions from project development to execution.Provide monthly forecasts, client insights, and market updates to senior leadership.Represent the organization through presentations, trade shows, industry associations, and client meetings.Support continuous improvement initiatives related to marketing, proposals, and client experience.What We Are Looking For5+ years of experience in construction business development, preconstruction, project coordination, or clientfacing roles with a General Contractor.Strong understanding of commercial or industrial construction processes, drawings, and project scopes.Established relationships in construction, industrial, or designbuild sectors considered an asset.Postsecondary education in Construction Management, Engineering Technology, Architecture, or Business/Commerce preferred.Strong communication, presentation, and clientrelationship skills.Ability to assess client needs, translate them into technical requirements, and coordinate internal teams.Highly organized selfstarter who can manage multiple opportunities with minimal supervision.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).Valid drivers license and clean abstract.Ability to travel throughout Alberta and Saskatchewan.Must be able to pass a preemployment drug and alcohol test.To apply for this job, click on 'Easy Apply' at the top of this ad, or send your resume to .
