Genie Senior Services is the all-in-one solution for senior downsizing and relocation.Role DescriptionThis is a part-time, on-site role for a Moving Team Member, located in Calgary, AB. This part time position is for an average of 3+ days a week currently. These days will be primarily during the week.We work daytime hours only. Looking for a flexible individual as our schedule changes weekly. The Moving Team Member will assist with the packing, unpacking, loading, and unloading of household items. Responsibilities include careful handling and transporting of clients' belongings, assisting with setting up the new home according to client preferences, and ensuring a smooth and stress-free moving experience. The role also involves working with a great Team preparing and protecting items for transport and adhering to safety protocols.QualificationsExperience in loading, and unloading household items is preferred.Ability to handle and transport clients' belongings carefullyKnowledge of safety protocols and best practices in moving is an assetExcellent communication and customer service skillsPhysical ability to perform moving-related tasks with lifting up to 50 lbsPrevious experience in senior care or moving services is beneficial but not required.A Team player who enjoys working hard in a fun environment with a fantastic crew!Candidate will either meet the team on the job site or a Crew pick up point is at Crowfoot Station in NW Calgary. Pick up does not happen at any other train station so candidate must either have transportation or get themselves to Crowfoot Station NW at a scheduled time. A good command of English is essentialNon Smoker is non negotiableMust currently reside in Calgary, AB. References requiredRemuneration $21 -$23/hour with increase after 3 month probationary period
