Title: Director of Programs & OperationsTenure: Full Time, PermanentSalary: $65,000/annuallyLocation: Work from Home (WFH) with occasional in-office days at Arrow, and event attendance requiredDirect Reports: Interns and VolunteersPosition OverviewWe are seeking a strategic, entrepreneurial, and execution-driven Director of Programs & Operations to lead the growth and operational success of our Gala (Awards Ceremony), artist membership programs, educational initiatives, and community engagement efforts.This role combines program strategy, financial oversight, sponsorship development, grant management, and operational leadership. The ideal candidate is both a visionary planner and a hands-on executor who can drive profitability while strengthening artist engagement and community presence.Key ResponsibilitiesProgram Strategy & Gala LeadershipBuild and strategize the long-term vision and growth of the Gala (Awards Ceremony).Increase membership sign-ups and develop ongoing mentorship and educational pathways for artists.Oversee planning and execution of the annual Gala, ensuring financial and operational success.Financial Planning & OperationsLead annual budget planning and develop strategic profit & loss forecasts.Provide ongoing financial updates and performance presentations to ownership.Drive initiatives that contribute to positive EBITDA and sustainable growth.Sponsorships & PartnershipsDevelop, network, and solidify corporate sponsorships and strategic partnerships.Create sponsorship packages and revenue-generating opportunities aligned with brand goals.Programs & Member EngagementBuild and execute monthly showcases for members.Develop and implement educational classes and workshops to support artist development and long-term succession planning.Expand membership engagement through value-driven programming.Grant ManagementIdentify and apply for relevant grants to support operations and program growth.Ensure compliance and reporting requirements for awarded grants.Volunteer & Team LeadershipCreate and manage a structured volunteer program to support the Gala, showcases, classes, and daily operations.Oversee interns and volunteers, providing direction, accountability, and mentorship.Marketing & Social MediaManage and grow social media platforms to increase engagement, visibility, and membership.Develop campaigns to promote events, classes, and organizational milestones.Qualifications35+ years of experience in program management, event leadership, nonprofit operations, arts management, or related field.Experience with budget management and P&L oversight.Proven success in sponsorship development, partnerships, or fundraising.Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.Experience managing volunteers, interns, or small teams.Comfortable working independently in a remote environment while attending key events and occasional office days.What Were Looking ForStrategic thinker with operational disciplineRevenue-minded and growth-focusedStrong relationship builderHighly organized and execution-orientedPassion for arts, mentorship, and community development
