Business Planner Artika Position Overview The Business Planner plays a key role in supporting Sales & Operations by establishing and reinforcing analytical processes and providing day-to-day operational support. Working closely with Account Managers, this role helps execute strategies for major big-box retail customers, including those with strong e-commerce presence. The Business Planner is responsible for driving sales performance, optimizing inventory levels, and supporting all sales-related activities. Acting as the primary support to Account Managers, this role ensures accurate product setup, maintains assortments, manages data, and delivers actionable insights that contribute to achieving Artikas sales and profitability goals. This position collaborates cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, and Channel Management teams to resolve issues and improve business performance. Reporting to: Director Sales - Club Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain all product information, including onboarding new items with retail partners and communicating updates internally Serve as a subject matter expert in retail systems required for daily operations Partner with cross-functional teams to analyze business performance and identify root causes of issues Support Account Managers in identifying, quantifying, and communicating sales opportunities Perform administrative and tactical tasks to support account management activities Assist in preparing for business reviews and product line reviews Execute and monitor product tests, including inventory tracking, in-store execution, and visual merchandising Support forecasting and replenishment activities to ensure optimal inventory levels Lead purchase order (PO) and sales order (SO) follow-ups internally Facilitate and lead weekly tracker meetings Manage onboarding of new SKUs and product setup processes Act as a key point of contact with retail buyers, merchant planners, and onboarding analysts Qualifications & Requirements Experience in reporting, data analysis, and forecasting Strong ability to analyze complex data while maintaining alignment with overall business strategy and objectives Proven experience developing and presenting reports Highly adaptable with the ability to manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong analytical thinking, critical reasoning, and problem-solving skills High attention to detail and accuracy Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team Professional demeanor, with the ability to perform under pressure Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to recommend actionable solutions Friendly, proactive, and team-oriented attitude Technical Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) Experience with Adobe Acrobat and web-based/social media platforms Advanced Excel skills are an asset Knowledge of BI reporting tools and EDI systems is an asset Additional Requirements English (working proficiency); French is considered an asset Retail or Club Industry experience is an asset Flexibility to work overtime or weekends during peak periods Degree in Business, Commerce, or related field is an asset but not required Benefits Competitive Salary + Performance Bonus Company RRSP Match up to 4% Health and Dental Insurance 3 Weeks Vacation 5 Personal Days 12 Flex Days Free On-Site Parking 4 days in officeWork Environment Modern Office Space Why Join Artika?
