Matchtech are supporting a key client with the requisition of an experienced Project Manager to lead energy transmission and distribution projects from concept through to completion. This role oversees planning, engineering coordination, procurement, construction, and project closeout while ensuring all work meets client, safety, environmental, and regulatory expectations. Key Responsibilities Manage full project lifecycle: planning, estimating, engineering, permitting, right-of-way, procurement, construction oversight, project controls, and closeout. Develop and maintain project schedules, manage scope, and control costs. Lead project financials including forecasting, accruals, risk and change management. Coordinate multi-disciplinary project teams and maintain strong QA/QC alignment. Act as a central point of communication across internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders. Prepare proposals, support presentations, and participate in contract negotiations. Implement project policies, procedures, execution plans, and control systems. Report on progress, schedule, cost, procurement, and emerging issues. Support the growth of the Transmission team through mentoring and development. Assist with business development activities, including identifying opportunities and supporting client pursuits. Travel to project and client sites as required. Requirements Bachelors degree in engineering or related discipline. Minimum 8 years relevant experience, including 3+ years managing EPC projects in T&D. Professional Engineering (PE) license and/or PMP preferred. Strong understanding of transmission design and construction processes. Knowledge of NESC and relevant industry codes and standards. Demonstrated capability in budgeting, scheduling, change management, and coordination with engineering and construction teams. Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly. Ability to work effectively with diverse industry, government, and public stakeholders.
