Job Description

HCR Permanent Search is working with a Canadian-based automotive parts manufacturer that operates as a Tier 1/Tier 2 supplier to major global automakers. Role Overview The Corporate HR Coordinator is a nonhands-on, corporate-level role responsible for HR compliance, data management, and process governance across the organization. This position is highly data-driven and focused on maintaining accuracy, consistency, and integrity of HR systems, records, policies, and procedures. While operationally corporate in nature, the role also supports employee engagement initiatives and cross-functional HR projects as needed. Duties and Responsibilities Maintain and manage employee and HR records, including auditing data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance . Own and govern HR documentation, acting as the gatekeeper for all HR forms, templates, work instructions, and procedural documentation. Ensure all Job Descriptions are current, compliant, and posted on Plex. Ensure all HR policies, procedures, and MOS documents are updated, maintained, and posted on Plex. Perform HR data management and system updates in Plex, including employee records, company property tracking, CVOR, and drivers licenses. Support recruitment administration when required, including job postings, interview coordination, and documentation support (non-operational). Assist with HR data analysis, reporting, and compliance tracking , ensuring data integrity for audits and internal reviews. Serve as backup for hourly payroll processing (full process), ensuring compliance and accuracy. Maintain and update organizational charts on a weekly basis and post at Plant 1. Support corporate HR projects, including biometric initiatives , process improvements, and compliance-related implementations. Assist with employee engagement initiatives such as the Kids Gift Pick-Up, company BBQs, and other corporate events as required. Contribute to internal marketing initiatives and employee communications in alignment with HR programs. Enter and manage purchase orders for HR-related services and supplies. Support Divisional HR teams as needed with onboarding coordination, timeclock record reviews, and agency timesheet administration . Provide backup support to the HR Generalist for agency timesheets, timekeeping records, and general HR administrative functions . Continuously support the development, documentation, and improvement of HR processes and procedures . Perform other related duties to support the corporate HR function . Qualifications & Experience Minimum of 1 year of HR experience , preferably in a corporate or centralized HR environment . Strong experience working with HR data, systems, and documentation management . Highly data-driven , detail-oriented, and comfortable working with audits, compliance tracking, and reporting. Demonstrated ability to follow, manage, and improve processes and procedures . Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities across corporate HR functions. Flexibility to support employee engagement initiatives alongside core compliance and data responsibilities. Proficiency with HRIS systems (Plex preferred) and Microsoft Office tools. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments. Payroll experience Apply Now!
