Whats the role As part of our team youll be our go-to resource for all work involving Adobes AEM platform. Havas works with a broad range of industries and scopes: you might be building a microsite, migrating an enterprise multi-tenant architecture to a cloud environment, evaluating an existing implementation (or potential migration), or any / all of these (and others). Youll work with teams across Havass global network and additional resources to help drive these projects, both as a hands-on developer and a senior-level consultant. Communication skills are critical in this role: youll work directly with clients, interpreting their needs and concerns and offering solutions and explanations. Required experience If there is a key attribute here its adaptability. We manage a broad portfolio, and we look for talent that has worked across different industries deploying different of projects. Were going to want to know how you contributed to those projects, what your successes were, and what you would have done differently. That being said, there are certain fundamentals we (and likely you) know are necessary to succeed in this sort of role: Baseline . Experience building, supporting and debugging templates, components, fragments, etc. using the AEM framework and technologies such as HTL, Sightly, Java, and working with Sling, the JCR Repository, and Apaches Felix OSGi Framework. Integrations . AEM Sites is just one node (albeit a large one) in the broader Adobe Marketing Cloud and most of our clients are running more than just AEM Sites. An understanding of how those services integrate and reinforce each other is key, and experience integrating other 3rd party services with the platform is desirable. Presentation . Havas built its chops on user experience and our team prides itself on thoughtful, intuitive and forward-thinking design. A large part of your role will be working with our UX team to implement those experiences, as well as providing feedback and recommendations throughout the design process re. what makes sense for AEM, what introduces excess effort with minimal reward, and what AEM offers that might streamline / provide capabilities the UX team may not have considered. Strong candidates will have experience working with Responsive Design and one or more SPA platforms such as React, Vue and/or Angular. Other platforms . Many of our projects are migrations onto AEM and experience with other CMSs and MarTech platforms is hugely valuable as we work with clients to plan that roadmap. Pipelines. This is a senior role. Youll be expected to understand how to establish and manage repos and pipelines, troubleshoot issues, and understand and interpret the requirements needed to deploy releases to our clients. While its rare that we stand up this infrastructure ourselves, experience navigating these challenges is invaluable as we often work with very established technology teams who (rightly) expect a certain level of experience with these systems. Exploration. The tools we use are always in flux, with new capabilities emerging by the day and older technologies being put out to pasture. A desire and willingness to explore these new capabilities and apply them to real-world challenges in new and creative ways is part of who we are; successful candidates will join us with the same mindset. Required Certifications While certification isnt required, it certainly never hurts. Any certifications youve decided are worth gaining and maintaining are of clearly of interest to you, and likely of interest to us.
