About the Role: The Vice-President, Marketing and Communications Plus Company Canada (PCC), is responsible for all marketing and communications for the set of agencies named above. This role will report directly to the President of Plus Company Canada and act as their key advisor and counsel on all things marketing and communication. Other key stakeholders include; SVP of Growth to support new business efforts, the Cossette leadership Team as our largest Agency brand in Canada, the Plus Media and Munvo Leadership teams as our respective Media and Digital transformation arms. The VP represents and promotes PCC Agencies, increasing its visibility and supporting their mission, vision and growth goals. The VP leads the development and implementation of a world-class marketing and communications plan to promote, enhance and protect their reputation in the marketplace. The VP will leverage a broad range of communications and public relations activities to position the Agencies, their leadership teams, drive business development and support top talent attraction in all relevant markets. This individual will be an agency ambassador and sustain key relationships with stakeholders including clients and media. The Vice President will lead, inspire, mentor and engage a team of geographically dispersed professionals who will support and bring to life the agencies marketing and communications plans. This individual is a key member of the National Leadership Team, and will have oversight over a distinct marketing and communications budget and a clear resourcing structure. What Youll Do: Strategic Vision & Portfolio Cohesion: Provide high-level leadership and vision for PCCs strategic communications. You will act as a ''''strategic gatekeeper,'''' ensuring that while individual agency brands (media, martech, and creative) flourish and maintain their unique market identities, they remain aligned with the overarching Plus Company Canada mission and brand standards. Executive Thought Leadership & Authority: Architect and execute comprehensive communications strategies that elevate PCCs leadership teams. You will serve as a key advisor to the President of PCC and agency leaders, cultivating meaningful relationships with high-level external audiences and the media to cement our leaders as the definitive voices in their respective fields. Hybrid Team Architecture (Humans + AI): Lead, inspire, and mentor a geographically dispersed team of professionals. You will pioneer a modern workforce structure that strategically integrates human creativity with AI agents to automate routine distribution, monitor real-time sentiment, and scale content across the agency network. Brand Elevation & Marketplace Positioning: Act as the primary marketing strategist responsible for positioning the Company and its agencies in the market. You will identify emerging trends and challenges, working with the National Leadership Team to turn technical wins (martech breakthroughs, creative awards) into compelling narratives that drive business development and talent attraction. Reputation Defense & Strategic Governance: Maintain a proactive stance on reputation management by leveraging AI-enhanced insights to monitor global sentiment across the portfolio. You will define and execute appropriate strategies to mitigate risks and capitalize on marketing opportunities in real-time. Who You Are 10+ years of experience in communications, agency experience considered an asset. Experience leading communications and marketing in environments undergoing AI-driven transformation and automation. Previous senior management experience, with the ability to guide teams through change, implement new ways of working, and adopt new tools and capabilities. A collaborative leader who works effectively across disciplines including strategy, technology, and operations. Passion for AI-powered and integrated communications, and the role new platforms can play in improving impact and efficiency.
