Relevant du Directeur, Tarification, le/la Conseiller(re) principal(e), Tarification est responsable de la slection des risques en vue de latteinte des objectifs de son service. Poste en tl-travail au Canada. Responsabilits Tarification des risques complexes de la rassurance facultative, selon les directives de tarification de RGA Service rapide, efficace et courtois, tout en apportant une expertise technique et un soutien aux client(e)s. Respect constant des normes de qualit et de rapidit du service. Capacit de travailler de faon autonome sur les dossiers les plus complexes, dans la limite de ses pouvoirs dapprobation. Cosignature des dossiers des tarificateurs juniors et offre dencadrement, de formation et de mentorat Communication efficace avec les quipes, internes notamment les quipes charges de la tarification, du dveloppement commercial, de ladministration, des rclamations, de la tarification globale et des quipes mdicales. Rvision et contribution la conception des produits, des dispositions des polices, des traits, des lignes directrices en matire de tarification et les initiatives de dveloppement commercial. Participation aux activits organises par RGA et le secteur de lassurance, dans le but dentretenir de fortes relations avec les clients. Savoir-faire Comprhension approfondie des techniques de tarification mdicale et financire et maintien jour de ses connaissances sur les tendances et progrs de lindustrie Capacit dappliquer ses connaissances techniques aux dossiers les plus complexes Solide comprhension des concepts de vente aux personnes bien nanties et de leurs applications sur le march et capacit former ses pairs Leadership et collaboration Capacit de soutenir la direction du service en contribuant la formation, en dirigeant des discussions dquipe et en contribuant la rsolution des problmes techniques et des problmes des clients Participation active la gestion interne des risques, aux initiatives oprationnelles et aux projets spciaux (par exemple, conservation des donnes, systmes de tarification, GUM, manuel de procdures de tarification). Gestion efficace des situations sous forte pression et rsolution proactive des problmes. Contribution et prise en charge de projets dquipe, campagnes et initiatives stratgiques. Cration dun Environnement de collaboration et de recherche de solutions avec les parties prenantes internes et externes. Aptitudes Autorit dapprobation jusqu 10millions de dollars (assurance vie) et 1million de dollars (assurance Maladies graves). 10 15ans dexprience en tarification de produits dassurance vie individuelle. Connaissance approfondie de la terminologie mdicale, de la lgislation sur lassurance et des principes comptables bass sur le risque. Exprience confirme dans la tarification de dossiers complexes et de grande valeur. Matrise des facteurs de risque mdicaux et financiers. Rflexion analytique pousse et jugement sr dans les dcisions enjeu lev. Comptence dans linterprtation sous pression de documents mdicaux et financiers avancs. Excellent sens de lorganisation et capacit tablir des priorits et rpondre dans des environnements o le rythme est soutenu. Communiquer clairement et efficacement, tant lcrit qu loral. tablissement de relations solides et capacit favoriser la collaboration entre les quipes. Matrise du franais et de langlais loral comme lcrit, un atout Exprience dans plusieurs secteurs dactivit (assurance vie, invalidit, maladies graves), un atout Reporting to the Director, Underwriting, the Sr Underwriting Consultant assumes responsibility for the risk selection in order to meet departmental objectives. Remote position in Canada Responsibilities Underwrite complex facultative risks in alignment with RGA underwriting guidelines. Deliver prompt, efficient, and courteous service while providing technical expertise and support to clients. Ensure timely and high-quality service standards are consistently met. Act independently on the most complicated cases within delegated authority. Co-sign cases for junior underwriters and provide mentorship, training, and guidance. Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams including pricing, business development, administration, claims, global underwriting, and medical teams. Review and contribute to product design, policy provisions, treaties, underwriting guidelines, and business development initiatives. Participate in RGA events and industry activities to foster strong client relationships. Technical Expertise Demonstrates superior knowledge of medical and financial underwriting techniques and maintains awareness of industry trends and advancements. Applies critical thinking and technical knowledge to the most complex casework. Possesses a solid understanding of high-net-worth (HNW) sales concepts and their market applications, with the ability to educate others. Leadership & Collaboration Supports departmental management through training, leading team discussions, and contributing to the resolution of technical and client issues. Actively participates in internal risk management, operational initiatives, and special projects (e.g., data retention, underwriting systems, GUM, UW Procedural Manual). Effectively manages high-pressure situations and proactively addresses challenges. Provides input and leadership in team projects, campaigns, and strategic initiatives. Fosters a collaborative and solution-oriented environment across internal and external stakeholders. Skills Underwriting authority up to$10M (Life)and$1M (Critical Illness). 1015+ yearsof experience in Individual Life underwriting. Deep expertise inmedical terminology,insurance law, andrisk-based accounting. Proven track record in underwritingcomplex, high-net-worth cases. Strong grasp of medical and financial risk factors. Sharp analytical thinkingand sound judgmentin high-stakes decisions. Skilled in interpreting advanced medical and financial documentationunder pressure. Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and deliverin fast-paced environments. Clear and effective communicator, both written and verbal. Builds strong relationships and fosters collaborationacross teams. Client-focused, proactive, and aligned with business goals. Self-driven, adaptable, and committed to excellence. Compensation Range $115,700.00 - $144,650.00 Annual Base pay varies depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and market location. In addition, RGA provides an annual bonus plan that includes all roles and some positions are eligible for participation in our long-term equity incentive plan.
