We have an exciting role for a Senior Manager, Media & Connections Planning! Role Responsibilities Connections Planning Lead growth for the total business as a data-driven media inspiring leader, delivering our strategy, principles and learning agenda to achieve more efficiency, consistency and impact for our portfolio Guide and Develop long-term brand building and impactful in-culture connections plans across paid, owned, earned and shared marketing channels working with IAT and functional teams to ensure strong delivery of communications strategy, role of channels and tactical execution. Lead coordination of In-House Social Team within all planning and execution milestones, setting clear roles and responsibilities across teams throughout the planning cycle. Unlock and deliver a consumer-centric, data-driven approach that informs the right person, occasion, channel and message that delivers our brand experience across all touchpoints with excellence. Strategically lead Diageo Canada''''s total marketing investment planning, execution, measurement and reporting; with a focus on delivering efficient and impactful media guidance, adhering to budget and reporting management processes and needs at the local and global level. Media Planning Lead the briefing and evaluate media plans and scenarios based on budget parameters and brand objectives showcasing trade-offs between options. Work with Agency and Brand teams to ensure media best practices and provide ongoing optimizations that account for business changes throughout the year. Strengthen the points of collaboration for media across total scaled marketing functions, i.e. PR, Culture, Measurement, Partnerships and Creative Champion Diageo values, goals and initiatives through our media execution by participating or owning projects like our Society 2030 goals of Progress and growing our Diversity & Inclusion footprint, Sustainable Media practices and Positive Drinking campaign and partnership execution Lead accountability of media agency, staff and global stakeholder output that delivers on-best in-class the planning, execution and measurement processes through-the-line. Lead the audit and approval process for existing and new ATL partnerships (Media Vendors, Sponsorships, Integrations, etc.) Measurement, Data & Analytics Champion the consumer measurement agenda, leveraging MMM, competitive, Brand Health, Creative and Performance partners to establish optimization decisions that elevate our strategies, plans and executions to best in class expectations and deliver on local and global benchmarks Digital Transformation & Activation Future proof our business by leading digital transformation and accelerate digital marketing with precision in Canada, i.e. data decisioned media, fit for purpose dynamic content opportunities, cohesive digital ecosystem opportunities, etc. Strategically guide the development and execution of Canadas e-Comm & CRM strategy and planning to infuse shoppability in todays developing digital economy. Building 365, e-Comm, infrastructure updates and shoppable capabilities Ensure and facilitate collaboration between the In-House Social Team and creative agency partners as it relates to asset needs and deadlines. Experience / Skills Required At least 10 years of experience in media/comms planning Expert Excel and Powerpoint skills and a comfort with Power BI Excellent verbal and written communications skills Strong measurement and analytical skills and ability to think critically Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, while being extremely meticulous Ability to influence, persuade and lead broader teams with strong leadership positioning Preferred Knowledge, love and curiosity for media and the impact it can have on the business Demonstrated critical thinking ability within consumer, media and digital landscape Strong negotiating skills and being able to build and manage strong partnerships Ability to confidently present plans and ideas, often to a senior audience Self-starter who is comfortable with a rapidly-changing environment Energetic, relentless drive to succeed, TEAM player Used to working with a variety of partners and building relationships and collaboration Deal with a large volume of requests and know how to prioritize workload Working with Us Compensation Range $100,000.00 CAD - $150,000.00 CAD This posting is being published in relation to a currently existing vacancy.
