Job Description

onduct training and on boarding sessions on FinOps for various stakeholders Help the customer with on boarding process and adoption of the HCL FinOps platform Identify and communicate dependencies on various stakeholders Plan and collate the Cloud FinOps requirements with the Customer Assessment of existing reports and data around cloud spend Assessment of Past bills and invoices/purchases Assessment of current utilizations on Cloud services Conduct periodic performance reviews with various stakeholders to optimize cloud consumption Deliver sample chargeback and show back reports from the FinOps Tool Flag any suspicious cost spikes, help in setting anomaly, and budget alerts for BU Teams Set scheduling rules, optimization rules, etc. as per the Customer requirements Showback/Chargeback and Business unit custom integration recommendation Work with the customer to help define Public Cloud Policies related to FinOps Track recommendations and initiatives Quick wins identification, Roadmap & Platform Recommendation with Business Case Cost Allocation (Tagging, Hierarchy, Metadata and Shared Cost) Experience with cloud cost management tools (Cloudability, CloudHealth, etc.). Strong experience of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure ) Implementing Environment Hygiene & Best Practices Tracking Cloud Consumption & Spend Forecasting Performing Budget Management and Anomaly detection Utilizing Cloud Policy & Governance /Third Party Tool/Custom Dashboard Proactively monitor cloud usage patterns and identify anomalies, enabling quick action to prevent cost overruns.Strong experience in capacity planning, or cloud operations, preferably in a large-scale SaaS environment Excellent quantitative analysis and problem-solving skills. Expertise in data analysis and modeling methodologies for capacity forecasting Strong experience of cloud computing platforms (AWS/Azure, SaaS vendors) and Cloud Native technologies (Kubernetes, Prometheus, OpenCost, etc)
