Job Description Must-have: Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong knowledge of email marketing best practices Strong knowledge of CASL rules Working knowledge of AMPscript Working knowledge of Automation Studio, Journey Builder, and CloudPages Working knowledge of SQL Working knowledge of troubleshooting rendering across email clients Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist certification Experience breaking down email designs into either one-time or reusable modules / content blocks as needed Nice-to-have: Experience developing HTML templates and modules from scratch for use in Salesforce Marketing Cloud Experience working with Marketing Cloud Connect and Distributed Marketing Experience working with Salesforce Sales Cloud or Salesforce Financial Services Cloud Experience working with Server-Side JavaScript and API Knowledge of GitHub Knowledge of Package Manager Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer certification Daily Responsibilities: Handle the execution of email marketing campaigns, including day-to-day operations such as email development, campaign and journey setup, scheduling, testing/quality assurance, and deployment Ensure campaign accuracy, timeliness, and impact by collaborating with team members and cross-functional stakeholders Gather and validate data and dynamic content requirements, flagging any concerns or opportunities for improvement Make layout, content, and occasional design suggestions to improve performance of email campaigns Create and maintain dynamic email modules which work well across all supported email clients and follow latest best practices and brand guidelines Work closely with the Senior Manager of Digital Messaging to create efficiencies and automations for email campaigns and journeys Continuously monitor industry trends, technologies, and standards with respect to email marketing and be able to research, recommend, and apply new technologies as they emerge Champion continuous advancement of email features, process improvements, and automation capabilities to optimize customer experience and internal/external workflows Work with Senior Platform Managers to identify and implement template and code organization improvements while following established version control and change management processes Collaborate on documentation and organization of the MarTech ecosystem The expected base salary range for this position is $45 $50 per hour, depending on experience, skills, and internal equity.
