As a Senior Operational Risk Advisor, you will play a subject matter expert role in the integration of Banks portfolios. In this role, you will work closely with the large team coordinating integration activities, Operational Risk Partners, Senior Risk Managers, and certain other corporate functions. You will support the relevant community teams in sequencing operational risk assessments and critical reviews related to integration activities, as well as in incorporating new activities into the requirements of the Banks various operational risk frameworks. Your role: Serve as the primary point of contact for the Senior Risk Managers of the business lines impacted by the integration of Banks portfolios and work closely with them and their teams. Ensure the deployment of operational risk management frameworks and coordinate the various activities related to these frameworks, including accountability. Identify, document, and prioritize deviations from operational risk frameworks. Critically review the adequacy of action plans and monitor the progress of key remediation actions related to the integration. Interact regularly with various stakeholders such as Internal Audit, Compliance, Financial Governance, Fraud Management, Information Security, Technology and Data Risk Management, Legal Risk Management, Privacy, and Business Continuity regarding operational risks related to the integration of Banks portfolios and coordinate approaches with the impacted business lines. Issue independent operational risk assessments during the integration process and escalate material issues to the appropriate bodies (committees, senior management) Possess excellent knowledge of the requirements of the various operational risk frameworks and a 360-degree view of the operational risks in the sectors targeted (Personal and Commercial) by the integration of Banks portfolios Your team: Within the Risk Management sector, youll be part of a large team of about twenty colleagues and will report Senior Director, Operational Risk Partners. Prerequisites: Bachelors degree in a related field and ten years of relevant experience, or Masters degree in a related field and eight years of relevant experience Knowledge of operational risk management practices and the ability to understand the associated business issues Strong interpersonal skills Political acumen and a proven ability to influence business lines and corporate functions without direct reporting lines Demonstrated ability to prioritize, structure, and deliver value in complex, cross-functional environments Excellent communication, collaboration, and decision-making skills Preferred skills: Knowledge of Personal and Commercial banking operations is an asset Experience in a merger, acquisition, integration, or major transformation context
