Responsibilities: Architect and implement core software that converts high level AI decisions into precise commands for laboratory equipment, including oscilloscopes, signal generators, and lasers. Develop APIs and control frameworks to integrate diverse instruments, ensuring seamless and reliable operation. Design systems for parallelized measurements, optimizing data collection for speed, accuracy, and safety. Establish robust monitoring, error handling, and safety protocols to prevent unsafe AI driven operations. Qualifications: Advanced degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 7+ years of hands on engineering experience, ideally including lab or customer facing roles.
