We are known for precision, accountability, and a hands-on leadership team that understands both field operations and business performance.We are looking for a driven, detail-orientedConstruction Estimatorto join our team and play a key role in securing and pricing upcoming projects.Role DescriptionWe are looking for a driven, detail-orientedConstruction Estimator-Project Managerto join our team and play a key role in securing and pricing upcoming projects and see them through until completion.Position OverviewThe Construction Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for excavation and site development projects. This individual will work closely with the operations team to ensure bids reflect real production rates, equipment capabilities, and site constraints.This is a critical role in the company the right candidate will directly impact project profitability and company growth.Key ResponsibilitiesReview drawings, specifications, geotechnical reports, and tender documentsPerform quantity take-offs for:Bulk excavationFooting excavationRe-engineering of fillSubgrade preparationAsphalt, curb & sidewalk removalsRetaining wall excavationAnalyze grading plans and cut/fill volumesSolicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotesBuild detailed cost breakdowns including labour, equipment, trucking, disposal, and materialsPrepare tender submissions and scope clarificationsIdentify risks, exclusions, and value engineering opportunitiesQualifications5+ years of estimating experience in excavation, earthworks, or heavy civil constructionDegree or Diploma inCivil Engineering, Construction Management,or related field.Strong understanding of grading, cut/fill balancing, and soil conditionsAbility to read and interpret civil and structural drawingsProficiency in estimating software (experience with Agtek, Bluebeam, Excel preferred)Strong mathematical and analytical skillsDetail-oriented and organizedAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tendersProject Management experience managing Earthworks and Civil projects from tender through completionJob Type: Full-timeBenefits:Company eventsDental careOn-site parkingVision careWork Location: In person
