Reporting to the CEO, the Finance Manager is responsible for managing the financial affairs of Canadian Western Agribition, including development and maintenance of the annual budget, financial planning and reporting systems, and daytoday financial operations. The Finance Manager also manages human resource files and procedures for all Agribition employees, including payroll and benefits. Financial Management Develop the annual budget and related documents for approval by the CEO and the Board of Directors. Implement and maintain financial planning and reporting systems; recommend upgrades or changes as required. Manage daily financial affairs: invoicing, payables, bank reconciliations, and processing creditcard payments. Produce regular financial statements. File all Revenue Canada annual returns and T4s. Update current banking and signing authorities. Perform yearend analysis, balancing, and reconciliations for auditors. Attend regularly scheduled executive and board meetings and serve as the main liaison for meeting preparation. Information Systems Act as the computer liaison with IT companies. Manage requests for equipment and software upgrades. Handle program licensing renewals. Human Resources Process payroll for permanent and parttime staff. Manage staff benefit plans, insurance, liability, and legal programs. Maintain staff HR files and update the employee handbook. Prepare semimonthly payroll for parttime staff. Organize staff orientation. Handle workers'' compensation inquiries. Administration & Tickets Coordinate printing of all tickets, passes, and parking passes. Serve as the main contact for security and gate contractors regarding gate issues and the Photo ID system. Act as the main contact for the box office regarding sales. #J-18808-Ljbffr
