As a Linehaul Driver, you''ll run longhaul routes throughout the Maritimes, the U.S. Eastern Seaboard, and Ontario/Quebec while consistently following company procedures and maintaining high safety standards. What we offer: Canadian miles: $1.605 per mile. /USA miles: $1.720 per mile. Fuel Capped at: Domestic $0.408 per liter & U.S. $1.54 per U.S. gal. Safety and fuel bonus paid quarterly. Deliver freight to assigned locationsensuring timely delivery. Offload variable shipment weight and handle freight equipment properly and in a safe manner to avoid any damage. Communicate efficiently with the central dispatch and customers. Operate the tractor trailer in accordance with the safety regulation: company rules while following safety procedures and traffic laws. Perform pre-trip, en-route and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the truck operation. Report any incident, accident, injury or damage in a timely manner. Willingness to work linehaul legs into the United States, including New York and New Jersey. Qualifications Newer model of a Bunk Truck. Education Required: High School or GED. Class1 drivers license with a minimum of 4 years of safe tractor trailer driving experience in North America required. Clean drivers abstract and criminal search. Eligibility to receive a FAST card. Eligibility to cross the border with US. Familiarity with satellite systems. Excellent communication skills, work ethic and reliability. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Able to lift up to 50 lbs. using the proper equipment. Safety conscious.
