You will work alongside and lead a driven, collaborative team that is committed to exceeding client expectations and setting the standard for project excellence.Make a Difference Lead the development and review of proposals, including project approach, cost estimates, schedules and riskmanagement plan for new opportunities. Forge and or deepen our links to Northern-based Indigenous and Non-Indigenous contractors to collaborateon projects and new opportunities. Maintain and continue to build trusting, respectful relationships with existing clients, employees and contract workers. Successfully initiating environmental site assessments or remediation projects by establishing effective team structures, roles, and managing project delivery to achieve performance metrics. Providing technical leadership and oversight on core environmental projects including engaging subject matter experts as required to ensure high-quality outcomes. Conduct quality assurance reviews on project deliverables, and when necessary, support the execution of operational aspects within complex projects. Leading and preparing regular reports related to quality, financial, schedule, and safety performance for the portfolio of environmental projects assigned to you. Lead project reviews during project execution and at project close-out, ensuring lessons learned are documented and integrated into future work. Champion a culture of excellence, ensuring adherence to the highest standards of health, safety, and quality across all areas of operation. Proactively identify and mitigate risks, while fostering continuous improvement and compliance with regulatory and external client requirements.Showcase your Education & Expertise Undergraduate degree in environmental engineering or related earth sciences program and professional designations in at least one Canadian province or territory.PEng is preferred. Minimum of 10 years of experience in the environmental industry Minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership role in the environmental consulting or contracting sector. A strong team player who enjoys collaborating across disciplines and sharing knowledge. Northern experience or strong interest in doing Northern work.
