Are you interested in joining a growing team of professionals making significant strides to strengthen the economy and build a rare earth supply chain right here in Saskatchewan? Join our team to be an integral part of the construction, commissioning, and future operations of the Saskatchewan Research Councils (SRC) Rare Earth Processing Facility North Americas first vertically-integrated, commercial demonstration facility complete with hydrometallurgy, separation, and metal smelting stages. Rare earth elements (REEs) are essential in many modern technologies, such as wind turbines, cell phones, and electric vehicles. SRCs Rare Earth Processing Facility is the first-of-its-kind in North America and will begin to establish an REE technology hub in Saskatchewan, forming an industry model for future commercial REE initiatives. Current Opportunities Include Apprentice Electrician Apprentice Plumber Journeyperson Electrician Journeyperson Plumber Current openings are for 12-month terms, with the possibility of extension. The chosen candidate will also be required to provide an original Criminal Record Check that is satisfactory to SRC prior to the commencement of any employment duties. The Criminal Record Check must have been executed within the preceding 30 days of receipt. This position is located in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
