Compensation: $65,000 $75,000 per year The Opportunity We are seeking an Accountant/Cost Accountant to join our finance team. The team provides services for multiple divisions and business lines including estate grown wine, tasting rooms, bistros, fine dining, accommodations and events. This is an excellent opportunity to be involved in both the financial and operational aspects of a business with opportunity for advancement for the right candidate. Reporting to the Controller, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the accounting cycles, keeping accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies, analyzing costs, and preparing management reports. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in accounting who is ready to take on more complex responsibilities. What Youll Do Prepare journal entries and reconciliations. Assist in monthly, quarterly, and yearend closing processes. Support the preparation of financial statements and management reports. Analyze and report on product, project, and departmental costs. Support margin and breakeven analysis, and inventory management and valuation. Manage regulatory remittances. Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with operations, and production teams to control costs. Support Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Payroll process execution as required. What You Bring CPA designation 3+ years of progressive accounting experience. Strong analytical and problemsolving skills. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment. Proficiency in accounting software and Excel. Knowledge of both financial and cost accounting principles. Experience with management reporting and financial analysis. Experience with inventory and POS systems.
