We are seeking a Data Platform Manager to oversee Data Modelling and Architecture. This person will inherit and existing team and continue to scale! Location: Canada (remote) Compensation: Up to 200K The role: Lead the evolution and optimization of existing data models, prioritizing scalability and reuse over ad hoc rebuilds. Drive the design of long-term data architecture to support advanced analytics and AI/ML initiatives. Develop and maintain robust dimensional models, including fact and dimension tables, as well as scalable semantic layers. Own the development of high-performance data pipelines leveraging technologies such as Spark and Airflow, including real-time data enrichment and processing. Partner closely with data science teams to enable production-grade AI/ML workflows. Transform complex, unstructured, and low-quality data into standardized, analytics-ready datasets. Ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of data platforms, pipelines, and models across the organization. The skills: Extensive experience in Python, SQL, Airflow, Spark Strong experience in Data Modelling with the primary usage being in a modern data platform Experience with raw and messy datasets Deep knowledge of core models, semantic layers, data architecture and real time enrichment Multiple years in leadership overseeing a team of direct reports
