Production supervisor Cornwall, Ontario Agence Charlie is proud to present its mandate Our client, a growing manufacturing company, is currently undergoing an important transformation toward greater structure, operational discipline, and performance. To support this evolution, the organization is looking for a Production Supervisor who can take ownership on the shop floor, bring structure to operations, and develop the team. This is not a role for someone who simply keeps production running. We are looking for a hands-on leader who can coach, structure, and elevate the team. Your role You will play a dual role: stabilizing day-to-day operations implementing more structured and performance-driven practices You will work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to support operational excellence and business growth. Responsibilities Operations management Oversee daily production activities and ensure targets are met in terms of output, quality, and timelines Manage scheduling, attendance, and workforce performance Supervise a team of approximately 30 employees (including 4 team leads) Team leadership and development Coach and support team leads (a critical part of the role) Develop technical employees into stronger leaders Manage performance, including follow-ups and corrective actions when required Structure and organization Implement simple and effective KPIs Establish management routines (meetings, follow-ups, priorities) Bring structure, consistency, and predictability to operations Continuous improvement Identify operational gaps and implement practical solutions Support the implementation of Lean practices (5S, root cause analysis, etc.) Contribute to process standardization and improvement initiatives Health and safety Promote and enforce health and safety best practices Participate in incident investigations and corrective actions Support a strong safety culture on the floor Your profile You recognize yourself in the following: You are a hands-on leader with strong credibility on the floor You are comfortable coaching, structuring, and leading a team You are confident managing performance and addressing issues when needed You are organized, autonomous, and solution-oriented You have experience in an environment where KPIs, processes, and standards are in place You are motivated by making a real impact in a growing organization Education and experience Relevant education in operations management, industrial engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) Experience supervising in a manufacturing environment Experience in a structured environment (Lean, KPIs, continuous improvement), considered a strong asset Ability to communicate in French and English, required to communicate with teams and stakeholders Working conditions Salary: between $80,000 and $85,000, depending on experience Schedule: day shift (7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.), with flexibility based on operational needs 100% on-site role (manufacturing environment) Exposure to production environment (noise, equipment, shop floor activity) Vacation: flexible based on experience Why consider this opportunity Key role in a company undergoing transformation Direct impact on operations and team development Accessible, collaborative, and low-bureaucracy environment Opportunity to build and improve, not just maintain Growth potential within the organization In summary This role is ideal for a Production Supervisor who wants to go beyond daily operations and play an active role in structuring processes, developing people, and contributing to the evolution of the organization.
