New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex infrastructure initiatives as part of a Data Center Rationalization Program for a public-sector client. The Senior Project Manager will work within the Strategy Realization Office, collaborating closely with program leadership, architecture, infrastructure, and business stakeholders to ensure successful execution of large-scale, multi-stream technology projects. This role requires strong leadership across the full project lifecycle, with a focus on governance, risk management, and infrastructure delivery excellence. Responsibilities: Lead full lifecycle delivery of infrastructure projects, including cloud, network, platform, and data environment initiatives Develop and maintain integrated project plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables across multiple technical teams Define and manage project scope, success criteria, and acceptance conditions Ensure adherence to SDLC, PMLC, and infrastructure delivery standards Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams Partner with Strategy Realization Office, Program Managers, Architecture, Infrastructure, and IT Leadership to align priorities Facilitate coordination across cross-functional teams with competing priorities and complex dependencies Manage vendor relationships, including system integrators, cloud providers, and third-party partners Ensure vendor deliverables meet contractual, architectural, and quality expectations Own and maintain RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) Identify, manage, and escalate risks at both project and program levels Translate technical risks and issues into business impacts for executive stakeholders Provide clear, concise, and data-driven status reporting, including project health and forward-looking risks Support governance processes, stage gates, and executive reporting requirements Collaborate with resource managers to align project demand with available technical capacity Validate resource assumptions across specialized roles such as cloud engineers, architects, and DBAs Identify and escalate resource constraints and recommend mitigation strategies Contribute to enterprise capacity planning and forecasting activities Coordinate infrastructure readiness activities, including environment setup, deployment planning, and release coordination Ensure operational handoff readiness, including runbooks, SLAs, monitoring, and support models Align delivery with production support, incident management, and service management processes Partner with Change Management teams to support adoption of new platforms and infrastructure capabilities Requirements: 7+ years of experience delivering complex IT infrastructure projects and programs Proven experience managing large-scale initiatives involving data center rationalization, cloud transformation, or infrastructure modernization Strong experience managing interdependent project schedules, including application migrations, vendor deliverables, testing, and cutover activities Demonstrated expertise in risk identification, management, and mitigation across business and technology domains (e.g., security, data integrity, operational stability, compliance) Proven experience working within formal project and program governance frameworks, including executive reporting and escalation Experience managing multiple stakeholders across business and IT, including senior leadership Strong ability to lead cross-functional teams in complex, fast-paced environments Excellent written and verbal communication skills Assets: Experience working within public-sector or insurance environments Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile methodologies Experience with large-scale data center migrations or rationalization programs Background in regulated industries such as insurance, financial services, or government Engagement Detail''s: Full-time contract role for an initial term of 11 months, with the option to extend Start date: April 27, 2026 Hybrid work model; open to candidates across Canada Must be available to work Regina standard business hours If you have this expertise and are eligible to work in Canada, please submit your resume.
