Youll dive into financial results, forecasts, and operational data to understand whats happening in the business and why, then translate that into clear, executive-ready insights that support decision making. From analyzing pipeline conversions and operational performance to building forecasts, scenario models, and dashboards, youll connect whats happening on the ground with what it means for revenue, margins, and strategy. Youll partner closely with Finance, Operations, and Data teams, contribute to special projects that improve how we analyze and forecast the business, and help modernize our finance tools through automation and AI. We value a productive, proactive, and fast-paced office environment.HOW DO YOU FIT IN?The successful individual will have the following experience, education, and ability to develop these demonstrated skills:RequiredBachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field25 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or corporate financeStrong analytical and problem solving skillsAdvanced Excel proficiencyFamiliarity with Power BI and other data analytics platformsAbility to clearly communicate insights across finance and operationsNice to HaveExperience in financial services, lending, or asset based businessesInterest or exposure to automation, Copilot, or AI enabled finance workflowsWHAT YOU WILL BE DOINGFinancial Analysis and Management ReportingAnalyze monthly, quarterly, and year to date financial results vs budget and forecastTranslate financial results into concise, executive ready insights and recommendationsAssist in preparing financial and performance reporting for managementSupport rolling forecasts, medium term outlooks, and annual planning cyclesMaintain and analyze forecast assumptions across financial and operational driversPerform scenario and sensitivity analysis to support leadership decision makingOperations Decision SupportMaintain and analyze operational KPIs that drive financial outcomes, including but not limited to: pipeline conversion ratios (inquiries approvals fundings), turnaround times, queue volumes, and capacity indicators, operational throughput, backlog, and workload metrics, pricing, mix, and product level performance driversConnect operational performance trends to revenue, margin, liquidity, capital efficiency and forecast impactsPartner with Finance, Operations, BI, and Data Engineering teams to ensure operational KPIs are clearly defined, consistently measured and used in financial analysis and forecastingSupport management and leadership by highlighting early operational signals that may impact future financial performanceAdHoc Analysis & Special ProjectsProvide adhoc financial and operational analysis to support executive decision makingContribute to special projects involving unit economics, trend analysis, cost behaviour analysis, or forecasting enhancementsSupport financial process automation initiatives (reporting automation, workflow improvements)Assist with testing, validation, and adoption of AI and Copilot enabled finance toolsWhy Calvert Home Mortgage?Calvert Home Mortgage's mission is to be the most trusted mortgage lender in Canada so that our customers, investors and partners succeed and grow in thriving communities.
