The Role Our site in Entegris Canada - Toronto is seeking a Production Chemist/Operator to join our team. Job Title Production Chemist II Responsibilities Proper use and care of equipment. Strict adherence to production specifications and procedures. Compliance with housekeeping protocol, Health & Safety requirements. Ensuring all required documentation is current, complete and accurate. Working to improve your skills and those of your colleagues. Developing and maintaining a thorough understanding of chemicals used in manufacturing, production procedures and underlying chemistry. Supporting team members with your sound understanding of safe operations in the plant. Working 12hour shifts, rotating day/night every month. What We Seek Enthusiasm for acquiring new skills. Strong interpersonal and team communication skills. Strict attention to detail at all times. Comfort working in an ethnically diverse environment. Ability to lift 50 pounds. Willingness to wear PPE, including a lab coat, safety glasses, hard hat, and a fullface or partialface respirator. Outstanding Candidates Will Have B.Sc. degree in chemistry or a college diploma in chemical technology or a related field. Experience in a chemical manufacturing plant is an asset.
