The House Leader at our Regina home will be responsible for ensuring the home and the children receive proper care and attention, following the plan set forth for the home to foster the holistic development of all children at the highest possible regard. Responsibilities Ensure the proper preparation of meals as per the menu. Prepare a weekly/biweekly grocery list and menu. Effectively account for and handle bank cards and petty cash. Ensure cleaning and maintenance of the premises as per schedule. Ensure the accuracy of daily logs. Purchase daytoday needs for the daytoday operations of the home. Attend and conduct monthly staff meetings and make staff shift schedules. Ensure proper and timely reporting. Coordinate and communicate with ministry workers for visits and relevant information sharing. Maintain professionalism and confidentiality of staff and childrens information. Ensure all childrens medication is administered timely. Ensure childrens pickanddropoff for childrens daily activities. Ensure children have proper clothing and school supplies. Ensure all forms from school/daycare that need to be signed by a ministry worker are completed. Qualifications & Certifications Formal postsecondary education in a related field (e.g., an early childhood education or social work diploma) considered an asset. CPR/First Aid certification required. Training in behavioural and crisis management an asset. Supervisory and/or management experience required. Experience working with children with varying behaviours an asset. Possession of a Class 5 driving licence an asset.
