You will work as key members of our Village and neighbourhood multidisciplinary teams to understand residents individual needs, and advocate for residents to actively participate in decisions about their care.The Horticultural Therapist at Schlegel Villages fosters exemplary relationships with residents, their families and the Village team to deliver holistic care that focuses on flexible living and quality of life.Our Horticultural Therapist will plan gardening-based activities, either on a per-session basis or incorporated into a larger curriculum. Providing hands-on experiences for our residents including, but not limited to planting seeds and caring for plants both indoors and outside.In combination with the Recreation Team, the Horticultural Therapist can support our residents to learn, grow, find life purpose and meaning.
