The Public Relations Advisor will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with key industry stakeholders in the media and public, retail, pharmacy and government space to enhance and maintain Rexalls strategic objectives, brand and reputation.What youll be doingContent creationDevelop and implement comprehensive communication plans that align with Rexalls strategyOversee communication media campaign and events that will have a positive outcome for RexallEnsure Rexalls public presence is consistent and positively representedAssist with developing external communication for Rexalls senior leadership teamExecute public relations campaigns that include developing press releases and media kitsMedia Relations and Campaign ManagementBuild and maintain strong relationships with the media and key industry stakeholdersManage press conferences, requests for interviews and customer and patient relationsPartner with Marketing team to build engaging content and eventsCrisis CommunicationsDevelop and maintain crisis communication plans and strategies for the companyAssist in managing crises and ensure there is minimal negative impact to the companys reputation and brandEnsure timely and accurate information is disseminated to key stakeholdersReporting and AnalysisMonitor Rexall and its affiliates public image across various channelsAnalyze companys social media metrics and develop plans to improve Rexalls online presenceOtherPerform other duties as assigned to support Rexall Pharmacy Group Ltd.Knowledge, skills and experienceBachelors degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related fieldMinimum 3 years in a Communications roleExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProven experience in creating communication strategy documents, media releases and crisis communicationStrong media relations skills including serving as a companys spokespersonExperience in Pharmacy, retail, or healthcare is strongly preferredAbility to work on complex projects and manage multiple deadlinesAt Rexall, we are better together.
