Responsible for decontamination, reprocessing and sterilization of equipment, supplies and surgical instrumentation. Education Minimum of grade 12 or equivalent. Successful completion of MDRD certification from an accredited college (within the last 2 years). Qualifications Oneyear experience (within the last 2 years) working in an MDRD environment. Adheres to hospital workplace safety standards. Experience in assembly, prep and package, decontamination of surgical case carts/instruments/trays/equipment. Computer skills. Good decisionmaking and problemsolving skills. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and within a team environment. Demonstrated ability to lift 25 lbs repeatedly and push items over 50 lbs repeatedly. Ability to work all shifts including weekends and night shift. Good work and attendance record required.
