Enhance safety and operational efficiency as a dedicated underground Miner. Utilize advanced equipment to stabilize rock and comply with strict safety protocols in a remote environment. This position entails inspecting underground headings, scaling loose rocks, and installing ground support. Candidates should have at least 2 years of mining experience and be certified in Ontario Basic Underground Hard Rock Mining. Expect to operate heavy machinery and collaborate with supervisors to ensure compliance with health and safety standards. Key Responsibilities: Inspect underground headings for safety compliance Scale rock backs and walls for workplace safety Operate pneumatic drills and mechanized bolters Install or fix existing mine services and ventilation Comply with health and safety regulations at all times Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred Minimum of 2 years of mining experience required Certification in Ontario Basic Underground Hard Rock Mining Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Knowledge of health and safety standards applicable to mining Utilize your skills to maintain a secure mining environment while effectively managing underground operations. #J-18808-Ljbffr
